Firstly, the size of the bowl and lid allows for direct and indirect cooking, something that is not possible with the Compact Kettle, the previous model in the range.

Indirect cooking basically involves placing the charcoal on one side and the food on the other, which distances the meat from the direct heat and keeps it tender and juicy for longer.

The lid on this model is also taller than on the Compact Kettle, so we can roast larger pieces and feed more diners.

When not in use, the lid can be easily hung on the tub using a support hook located inside.

With this barbecue, we can prepare food for about six people. If we're going to cook for more people regularly, we should consider a larger barbecue, such as its bigger sister: the Bar-B Kettle 57 cm.

The Bar-B-Kettle is an entry-level model in Weber's charcoal range, a midpoint between the more sophisticated and the simpler models.
