Description
You get home after a long day and fancy something delicious for dinner, but you don't want to mess around in the kitchen...
Go outside, turn on the grill, and slice some vegetables—zucchini, asparagus, eggplant. Season a steak or fish fillet and throw it all on the grill. In no time, you'll have a delicious and complete dish with hardly any mess.
The griddle is a fantastic piece of equipment because it allows you to cook easily and quickly, at any time of day.
This way, you'll have time and space to enjoy the fresh air and company, and you'll be inspired to make new recipes that will surprise your guests—and yourself.
Forge Adour's Modern griddles are premium griddles, equipped with the latest in design and technology.
In this sense, they are closer to the higher-end range, called Premium, with which they share many characteristics.
The ignition system is integrated into the control knobs (5). Simply press and turn to ignite the burner (6) and regulate the temperature at the same time.
However, on the Modern irons, the buttons are located on the front, rather than on top, which makes the frame taller, and therefore the final design is less sophisticated than on the Premium range.
The grease collection system is also very similar. All excess liquids drain into a hole that connects to the grease tray (3), which has a capacity of 1.2 L and is hidden inside the grill.
To clean it, when the iron is cold, press the small door (3) to open it, and remove the tray inside. This is a very practical system, as well as elegant.
Modern griddles are available in stainless steel or enameled steel, with one, two, or three burners, depending on your needs.
In all models, the plate (1) is made of enamelled cast iron , the best material for griddles, because it retains and distributes heat excellently.
The sides of the plate are raised, preventing food and oil from falling off the griddle.
You don't need to use a lot of oil. The enamel on the hob prevents food from sticking and also protects it from possible scratches.
All in all, Modern griddles are solidly built, designed to last for many years. Proof of this is the 10-year warranty on the cooktop and burners, and a 5-year warranty on other components.
