Small chimney starter for Smokey Joe Ø 37 cm

The ceremony of lighting the coal is part of the fun, but let's not kid ourselves: no one wants to spend half an hour trying to light the coals.

That's why there's this fantastic device called a chimney starter, which radically speeds up the ignition of charcoal or briquettes.

The steps to follow are as follows:

1 - Place the coal or briquettes inside the chimney

2 - Place a couple of firelighters on the charcoal grill

3 - Light them with a kitchen lighter

4 - Place the chimney (with the coal inside) on top of the ignition tablets

5 - Wait until all the coal is lit (i.e., the top part is lit)

6 - Pour the charcoal into the barbecue

This simple process can save you a lot of waiting time, time you can spend cooking delicious dishes.

Due to its size, it is designed for use on portable barbecues, such as the 37 cm Smokey Joe, or other small barbecues.

However, if you have a larger barbecue, for example, 47 cm in diameter, we recommend using the large chimney starter. Otherwise, you'll have to repeat the process several times to get the right amount of coals.
