How to light a charcoal barbecue? It's very simple, if you have the necessary equipment: good charcoal, a chimney, and firelighters.
1 – Place a couple of firelighters on top of the charcoal grill, and light them with a kitchen lighter.
2 – Place the charcoal briquettes inside the fireplace, one on top of the other. The quantity will depend on the type of cooking you plan to do.
3 – Place the chimney full of briquettes on top of the lit tablets.
4 – When all the briquettes are lit (i.e., the ones on top are lit), you can put them inside the barbecue.
You can use charcoal or charcoal briquettes, depending on whether you need a fast or slow burn.
As for pickups, Weber offers standard white pickups or natural pickups.
The former contain chemical components, but are non-toxic and produce no unpleasant odor—they are odorless. Their main advantage is that they ignite very quickly.
Each tablet is individually wrapped for maximum protection against moisture. Do not remove the packaging when using; you can burn it directly without any problem.
