Description
The Weber Genesis II LX 4- and 6-burner barbecues have spacious grills, capable of cooking for up to a dozen people.
However, at large celebrations, when we have many guests, and especially if we have prepared a varied menu with several different dishes, even grills as large as those on the Genesis II LX can be too small.
The Weber elevated grill basket will come in very handy on occasions like this.
It consists of two pieces: a 8.5 x 12 x 1.3 inch stainless steel basket, and a support frame that fits over the Genesis II LX's reheating rack, leaving the basket elevated and securely held in place.
The warming rack is located at the end of the gas grill grates and can be folded and unfolded depending on whether we need to use it or not.
On the Genesis II LX, 4- and 6-burner barbecues, the warming racks have a special design, with double rods prepared to hold Weber's lift-up accessories (when folded down).
With this system, greater versatility and cooking capacity are achieved.
So, while we're grilling the meat on the main grill, we can grill sliced potatoes, peppers, and onions on the cooking tray, for example.
Of course, it can also be used directly on the grill.
The two pieces are easy to disassemble. Separate them for easy cleaning.
