It is essential to perform regular maintenance on our barbecue to keep it in top condition.
Aside from cleaning the grills before or after each use with a stainless steel brush, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the inside of the barbecue from time to time.
This cleaning should be done when the barbecue is completely cold.
First, we remove the grills and wash them with warm soapy water.
Next, using a scraper like this one, we remove the accumulated grease from the inside of the tub (as in the video).
The burners should be cleaned with the same stainless steel brush, taking care not to enlarge the gas holes.
Once we've removed the most noticeable dirt, we use a cloth and hot soapy water for the final cleaning.
This scraper is especially suitable for Q series gas barbecues, although it can also be used for larger barbecues.
